At Design Fix we understand property development and renovation first hand. We know budgets are tight so hiring a designer for the whole project is usually out of the question, but every day you are faced with having to make on the spot decisions on room layout, door positions, where to put sockets, what tiles to use, which flooring to go with, which kitchens door, handle and worktop to pick, bathroom and tap choices, paint colours and wallpapers options...the list is relentless and tiring. Decision making fatigue is real.
That's where our Design Assist Programme comes in. Let us help you on an ad hock basis in the instances you need an expert opinion on the layout or fixtures and finishes. We can guide you on cost-effective options and savvy spending without compromising on the style. Getting the basic design choices right to create a coherent look and feel to a property can get you ahead of the market. At the very least it will give you confidence in your choices and can prevent expensive mistakes.

All our services start with an initial phone consultation, which is absolutely free. We get to know you; your property; your likes/dislikes or your target market; all whilst you get to know us and what we can do to help you during your house build or renovation project.
REMOTE SERVICE with one site visit - Initially, we get to know and understand your property by looking through floor plans and photographs of the site. We then listen to your vision for the property, target market and discuss options within your given budget. There is an on-boarding fee of £324 to cover the initial site visit and time spent on analysing the information and research, followed by an agreed monthly fee (from £54/month) determined by the level of support required, for a set duration set by you.
REMOTE SERVICE - Once we understand your vision and goal for the property we can be on-hand when you find yourself faced with a design dilemma. For example we can facetime to discuss where sockets are best placed; or you can WhatsApp photos/web links for your worktop choices or tile options; space-planning can be discussed over a zoom call or during the initial site visit. Whenever you feel overwhelmed or out of your depth with interior decisions we are on-hand for remote help - quickly.
*To keep costs down, and to enable a fast response time, we offer our Design Assist Programme as a remote service after the initial site visit. However, some properties and complex projects will require regular site visit, or you may prefer an in-person consultations. For this we charge an additional fee of £162 per visit if within the Lancashire region. Please ask for our price for further afield.
